This half hour film is part of a worldwide series of fifty-two programmes featuring what individuals, communities and companies are doing to help safeguard the environment through the use of appropriate technologies. Introduced by HRH the Prince of Wales, the programme features five stories which show how a small amount of credit and innovative banking schemes can make a real difference to the lives of “poor” people. It explains how the so-called poor, often regarded as a risky investment, are often extremely bankable.
